Vietnam reduce the Visa fee for foreigners and Vietnamese aboard travelling to Vietnam
As the decree number 157/2015/TT-BTC about the Visa fee for foreigner:
The Visa for foreigners and Vietnamese living aboard has been adjusted as follow:
- Visa fee for Single entry Visa has been lowered from 45 USD to 25 USD
- Visa fee for 3 month Visa lowered from 90 USD to 50 USD
- The Visa fee for the Visa has duration from 3 month to 6 month and 6 month to 1 year has their fee stay the same as 155 USD
The decree also added the following Visa fee for longer terms Visa:
- Visa fee for 1 year to 2 year Visa is 145 USD
- Visa fee for 2 year to 3 year, 3 year to 4 year and 4 year to 5 year has the same fee as 155 USD
The fee to transfer the Visa from the old to a new passport has been reduced from 15 USD to 5 USD.
The fee to issue 1 year to 2 year Temporary Residency card has been increased from 100 USD to 145 USD; and for the 2 year to 5 year Temporary Residency card the fee also increased from 120 USD to 155 USD.
Also, the 10 USD fee to add or change the information in the Visa has been dropped.
The fee must be paid in Vietnam Dong. The Visa fee has been stated in USD can be paid in USD or Vietnam Dong according to the National Bank’s rates that day.
The decree will take activation on 23 of November 2015 and replace the decree number 66/2009/TT-BTC.
